- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪This is the first negative post I have even considered writing about a doctor; but I am so disgruntled I needed to let my opinion be known. Dr Zeltwanger referred me to a rhumotologist to rule out any unseen conditions, but the problem was that the rheumatologist he wanted me to see is two hours from my house... plus the rheumatologist didn't take my insurance. So I called and found a rhumotologist only an hour from my home that does accept my insurance. When I called and asked Dr Zeltwanger to send my referral to the other rhumotologist he refused and said he needed me to see the rhumotologist he referred and no other. I asked my primary care doctor to give me a referral to the rhumotologist that was convenient for me and since then Dr Zeltwanger refused to see me as a patient again... I only wanted to see Dr Zeltwanger because he visits my small town and I don't have to make the hour drive to St. Joseph. It is just as well, he doesn't listen attentively to my concerns anyway.July 08, 2017by Jonnie Madsen
